João Eduardo Aniceto de Oliveira is a DJ and producer from Frutal, in the countryside of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The plan was always this: to make a living from music. He started playing parties in 2021 and hasn't stopped since.

The journey began in electronic music, digging into the sounds that caught him first. In 2023 came the shift — he moved into funk and eletrofunk, and that's where he found the space that fits him best, without dropping what he brought from electronic music.

As JÃO DJ, he moves between styles with the same ease and brings a set to the floor that pulls from everything he's picked up along the way.
